Greetings to Everyone,
Firstly my apologies if this post is in the wrong forum I've been advised the quickest way to re-tile my bathroom is to remove the existing plasterboard and start over, So I've a couple of queries I'd appreciate some guidance on.

What's the best method of removing the existing tiled plasterboard? I thought about using an angle grinder to cut the wall into sections, am I havering?

Once the plasterboards out should I treat the studs? and what's the best type of plasterboard to use.

Many thanks in advance for any advice offered

did you know:

You can tile over tiles?

Plasterboard can easily be torn down

Thanks Breezer,
Unfortunately there's enough silicon on my tiles to seal the Titanic! Removing a tile confirmed my fears that the tiles had been leaking for sometime and the plasterboards goosed so alas I need to replace the plasterboard.

Cheers,
Rusty Scot

Use a wrecking bar to get going on the old wall & just rip it off thereafter.

I would suggest that you use a special tile backing board (aquapanel) rather than plasterboard to add longevity to your project.
