I want to tile over existing kitchen tiles but am having a problem tiling around the plug sockets. I was planning to loosen the screws for the socket front plate so that the new tile could slip slightly in behind it but have discovered that the screws are just a bit too short to accommodate the old + new tile. I've had a look in my local b&q for suitable longer screws that would do the trick but couldn't find anything. Any ideas or am I going to have to remove the old tiles?
thanks

You can get long screws for electrical sockets from most electrical wholesalers such as tlc or qvs
