Hi

I am having a new kitchen fitted in 8 weeks and I also want a tiled floor. My kitchen is being fitted by a professional fitter but I want to tile the floor. I have read several posts that say that the floor should be tiled before the kitchen is fitted, however as I haven’t got a blank canvas as my current kitchen is still in place it will be very difficult to tile wall to wall so should I tile after the kitchen has been fitted and tile up to the kick boards? I have checked the floor and it is very flat so I don’t have to worry about any self leveling compound!!

Thanks

Dan

if you are going to tile after the new kitchen is in, you eed to take the kick boards off tile under the cupboards then cut the boards down to fit, looks far better than tiliing up to it.
