Hi all
Probably a simple answer for you tilers.
I want to tile the wall surrounding a gas fire. It's an old house and the wall is very uneven. Was thinking of fixing some pink plasterboard and then tiling onto that. Do I prime the pink plasterboard with something or can i tile straight onto the plasterboard?
Tried to look it up and all i can find is the PVA argument but all them cases where when tiling in a shower or other high moisture areas.
Thank you all in advance for your time answering
Mike

grey p/board yes, i still do personaly prime, better safe than sorry.

be careful if you do prime, not all primers are suitable for plasterboard tho.

not sure about pink, maybe check the manufacturers label on it and look it up online.
