ive just removed my lino in the kitchen  ( wot a Bas###d). Anyway in doing so there is still lots of set adhesive on the concrete screed, so my questions are :
1, Can I put my slate tiles straight over this set adhesive....im using unibond Natural Stone Fast Set Adhesive?
2, If i cant how the devil do I remove this evil evil adhesive

In an ideal world you need to remove all of this, but we don't live in an ideal world.

If it's stuck so hard that you can't get it up then it's unlikely it's going to go anywhere.

You can probably stick right over it. (although without actually seeing it I can never be definate).

If your not happy about bonding straight over it, put down a layer a self lever to smooth it all out then tile over that. This then stops any possibility of chemical reactions.
