Tiling, should I or not

Just plaster boarded my kitchen and wondered if it`s advisable to tile straight onto the board without having it skimmed. Many thanks

yes you can tile direct onto plasterboard

But if you intend to replace them at anytime, you may damage the board when you remove them. At least with the skim you may only remove that.

Cheers for that, i`ll not bother skimming it and I cant see us tiling it again well not for while yet
