Hi can anyone reccomend a timer switch for an immersion heater the origional economy 7 setup has burnt out and need to replace it with something more upto date.

What type was the old switch that has burnt out?
I got one of these : - http://www.horstmann.co.uk/download...c-Water-Heating/Economy7_Quartz_datasheet.pdf last week to replace ours which is faulty!

These are very handy, as they use the industry standard fixings, so can in most cases simply connect up to your existing mounting block on the wall, using pre-existing connections - the price reflects the build quality though.
