Hi,
So, I already understand that venting is usually common for toilets, but here's my question:
Situation: A concealed Geberit wall mounted cistern with the waste travelling 1 metre to the outside wall (this is accessible as it's boxed in by a built in bath space) and then on the exterior of the building, the pipe travels horizontally downwards about 2 metres to the building soil/stack pipe. There are other flats above me, and their waste connects to that main soil/stack pipe on the outside of the building.
So, do I need an AAV attached to the toilet? My plumber did not install one. I heard of the suction problem that could arise. Keep in mind that my shower, sink and bathtub drain are linked together, but link to the main soil/stack pipe separately.
Thoughts? Many thanks!
