My new bathroom has a tanked floor as I had a walk in shower fitted. The toilet was also fitted, however the fitting as seen in the picture) just doesn't look right to me, particularly as the floor is supposed to be sealed. I have pointed this out to the person who did the work and getting no-where fast. He clearly has no intention of doing anything about it.
Another builder inspected it and said that the wrong unit had been installed for where the pipework was and that it had been a bodge fix and needs to be completely redone with the right unit.It is a suspended floor and the pipework runs underneath.
Should I be continuing down the line of not accepting the work? Please excuse my ignorance here, as I have no knowledge about these sort of things and I know going down this path with the person who fitted it will be very difficult, so I need to be certain of facts to challenge him, but I don't know where to get the information.
