Hi,

I'm installing a new toilet with a concealed cistern. I'm having a problem with the flush pipe, i.e., I cut it too short. So, I need to replace it. I've got a couple of questions on flush pipes. My flush pipe has different diameters at both ends. It tapers from the cistern end to the toilet end. Is this a universal standard? Are all flush pipes the same diameter? The reason I ask this is most websites don't bother to give the diameter of flush pipes, which gives the impression that they don't need to because it is a universal standard. I don't believe what I'm thinking is right though. I saw this flexible flush pipe and thought that it would be quite handy:

However, it doesn't bother telling you what the diameters are. Other places like screwfix don't tell you as well. I can't find one on the plumb center website. Other places don't seem to sell them, which makes think that I'm searching with the wrong search terms. Is it called something else other than a 'flush pipe'? If not, is it because you need to buy a new cistern?

Cheers
