Toilet isolation valve

Hi,

I have a leak that appears to be coming from the top of the isolation valve under the toilet system tank. Possibly from the nut above.

I've emptied the system to discount a leak from the there.

Looking at my photograph, is it a case of just buying and fitting a new valve? Can I do this without soldering etc.

Yes, and yes, but it may just need tightening, or a fibre washer replaced.

Yeah - shut off the water and take the valve off and clean it, then refit, replacing the fibre washer.

The washer was split. Something so cheap has caused so much damage!
