toilet on tiles

i am redoing my bathroom

new floors, new tiles.
i am putting down 18mm ply for a base. do i fix the toilet onto the ply and cut the tiles around the base of the toilet, or can i lay the tiles first and fix the toilet onto to tiles for a neater finish?

Ditto. But I would recommend using 25mm WBP ply instead of 18mm.
