Vinyl Tiles

Hi.

I am planning to lay some vinyl tiles on my bathroom floor.

Should I screw down some ply-wood to lay the tiles on top of, or can I lay the tiles straight onto floorboards?

Also - Is it best to cut the tiles around toilet and basin, or can toilet and basin be laid on top of vinyl tiles?

take toilet out secure f/boards to joists with screws, lay wbp ply leave about 5mm gap around at walls for exspansion, also joins in ply leave gap 2mm u could infill with a good mastic.
then ur vinly tiles mate.

Thanks mate. I wasn't sure if the toilet and basin would be too heavy to rest on top of the vinyl tiles, that's all.
