I'm about to lay vinyl tiles on the floor of my upstairs bathroom.

I was thinking of laying down a sheet of vinyl on the floorboards then a 6mm sheet of ply and the vinyl tiles ontop of the ply. Would this be a good way of doing it?? Also before I lay the tiles do I need to seal the ply wood with anything???

Any advice would be appreciated.

wrong forum mate
personally i wouldnt be putting a sheet of vinyl down, just screw ply to the floor, being vinyl tiles i am not sure about 6mm ply tho, the ply does not need sealed if you are using an adhesive, but not sure if you are using self adhesive vinyl tiles.
hope this helps you

Sorry wasn't sure which forum would cover this topic.

Any ideas on which forum I need to post this topic on????

Thanks
