If floor is level fit straight to floor and secure with 2 screws as normal (think about the length of the screws and what is under boards at fixing point). Packed mine (slightly uneven floor) on one side with pieces of 'tie wrap' (ain't going to rust, rot, mould, etc) which took the weight, then did the cosmetics and further fixing with mastic. 2 screws, not going anywhere.
