Never thought I would find myself taking pictures of my toilet seat, but when needs must!
I am having a mare finding a soft-close seat for my toilet. I now have spares for the other toilet as the two ordered do not fit.
The issue is that the hinge and fasteners on the current seat are outboard, with a wide fixing hole to hole (23.5 cm). The toilet is a Twyfords and I would guess it is the original Twyfords seat (seen better days).

You can see from the picture, toilet seat is conventional but the outer lid and toilet is D-shaped.

Anyone had similar issue and recommended seat?- I don't want to add to the garage collection further...

Thx,

Steve

You'll struggle to find one with 235mm hole centres. 180mm generally is the max adjustment.

Thanks Charnwood - that's the dilemma.
Not even a hidden fixing - just the outboard fixing system that's the issue.
Just hoping I don't have the Betamax of loo seats!
