Hi All,

I am looking to redo my kitchen in the new year.

In the floorspace of the kitchen is the downstairs loo.

The kitchen is on the right side of the staircase (hopefully makes sense).

  1. I've got some ideas here to move the toilet and condense it down a bit to make a better floorplan and move the door around. At the moment the doors open out on each other and cramps the room.
  2. With sizes of toilet suites now and this only being the downstairs loo I'm thinking I could push the toilet back a bit under the stairs here and add storage in the corner section
Interested to hear if anybody has any ideas/opinions on this?

Merry Xmas!

How about moving your dining room door across 900mm? Stops the doors clashing and retains a full size loo.

I'd lose quite a bit of space there in the kitchen as that is where utility stuff is at the moment and a boiler next to it.
