had a new toilet unit fitted 4 years ago. after flushing it refills itself as it should. sometimes it will not stop and overflows into the pan. found that sometimes if i turn on the bath cold tap full the toilet stops filling. it works sometimes. removing the cover of the toilet the innards are all white plastic and seem low quality to me. what can i do?

also had to use the stop valve now there is a small drop of water seeping out

not my week :-(

thanks for the reply. i also thought it would be wise to replace the system but wanted someone to back me up.

the link does not work due to site down for maintenace, will check it tomorrow morning

update - got a replacement from B&Q and problem solved.

opening up the existing unit looked fiddly

thanks for the replies
