I have been thinking of afew plans for lighting in various rooms and have found the above link which appears to be too good to be true, I plan to use to of these kits to replace two 100w pendant light fittings

I am also fascinated at the LED controller which works with a standard dimmer switch


What do you think?

It looks like a good idea, and I see no reason why it shouldn't work. LED colour changers have been on the market for a couple of years now, and I guess this is all this system utilises.

I reckon you would have to mount that controller outside the bathroom though :(

Oh and I notice there are no prices on that site. All the decent LED gear I have fitted costs mega bucks :eek:

depends how far you look. its only £129.95

I am surprised at how much light they give out, since I thought downlighters only gave a thin beam
