Took my Picanto for a swim.

Hi guys.

At the weekend I drove through a puddle (more like a lake) in the road. It looked shallow but in reality was abiut 18 inches deep. I managed to keep the Kia Picanto running my driving through using high revs and the engine is still perfect.

The problem is that when breaking, there is a slushing noise from the offside sill beneth the door! Does anyone know where the water is likely to be trapped and how to go about draining it?

My initial thought was water inside the door but it sounds like it is in the plasic bit below the door.

Any help would be greatfully received.

ithere may be a plastic plug at the wheelarch that may drain the sill?

Great! I have already seen the plug. I had assumed that it was the cover of a bolt or something.

I will give that a go!
