Toolstation Dual Flush Outlet Valve

I have just fitted one of these from Toolstation.

Neat bit of kit, looks well made.....but the performance is terrible - no matter how much i adjust it the water doesnt seem to flow fast enough to wash anything down.
Anybody fitted one of these with similiar results?

Some WC suites with a 6 litre flush are just not up to the job, and end up needing multiple flushes to clear the pan.

A 6 litre cistern mated to an older pan designed for a 9 litre flush generally doesn't work well either.

Pushing the flush pipe too far into the flush cone in the back of the pan can restrict the flow, making the flush ineffective.

Fit a flapper valve, it empties 6 litres every time. With only a one button push.
