Top of Flue.

My flue is situated on top of my garage and does not have a top to prevent the rain/snow etc from entering down into the system.

Can anybody advise as to whether I am allowed to make my own flue cover or is this contravening some rule.

Make/model of boiler, type/manufacturer of flue would help. Should have correct terminal on the top otherwise could be dangerous.
