top of rad hot bottom cold

the biggest rad in the lounge that is fed from upstairs is never warm enough always cold at the bottom and warm at the top.

took it off today and hosed it through checked trv and the lockshield both seem fine.

why does the water not flow through the rad ? inlet is red hot but outlet is cold.

tried fully open half closed nothing makes the damm thing work.

system is only 2 years old.

try turning other rads off, it might be air in the pipework.
Of course it could also be the pipework not big enough or pump....
