That isn't foreign policy. It's simply racism.

Blair's foreign policy (liberating Kuwait and war on Iraq) wasn't based on racism. So the two are not comparable.

It was retaliation for 9/11, Muslim fundamentalists attacked America.
America wanted revenge, instead of going after the real culprits they chose Iraq on the basis that most Americans don't know the difference between one muslim and another.

America wanted revenge, instead of going after the real culprits they chose Iraq on the basis that most Americans don't know the difference between one muslim and another.

They were never going to go to war against Saudi Arabia, they've got too much oil, and US do too much business with Saudi Arabia.
That's not about racism, it's about commercial interest.
US probably chose Iraq as the easiest target, and there was an excuse.
US wouldn't voluntarily choose a more difficult target. They were still hurting from the Vietnam war.
