A word of warning. I have just bought one of these, and spent time setting it up the way I wanted it. Windows downloaded and applied 47 updates without incident. Later on that day a single update was downloaded and applied, and after rebooting the machine, after inputting my user name and password it started flicking between the desktop and the Windows 8 Start screen (the one with all the tiles on it.) The tablet was totally unusable.
The only solution was to restore the tablet to factory settings and start again - with Windows Updates switched OFF!
Fortunately, I had not transferred too many of my programs and applications, so I actually lost nothing apart from my time, but my blood pressure did peak at quite a high level!
