Towel rail and heater element fitting issue (dual) please help

Hi all

I need some help!!!

I’m currently in the middle of a bathroom refurb and fitting a towel rail with a heater element so I can use it over the summer. I just bought a flomasta 1200 x 500 with a flomasta element from screwfix for ease.

The issue….. when I have fitted, i cant get the element in tight due to the direction i need the pipes see below (and the image from flomasta) and it really needs a 1/4 turn to nip into the rubber seal on the element. I have used ptfe, more ptfe and liquid ptfe (worked the best but still seeps at pressure).

Do I have a faulty rad /element in terms of threads or am I doing something wrong?

Assuming you mean the joint from the tee into towel warmer?
Loctite 55 is what we use never had a screwed fitting leak with 55 you can even 'back' it if needed.

Yes, sorry the tee into the rad. It has a rubber seal, but just doesn't nip, even with lots of ptfe. Used flomasta liquid ptfe but still seeping

Yep loose the rubber seal, loctite 55 wound on so there is plenty up to shoulder on tee
Wind in job done.
