Towerstat rf thermostat

I have had one of these installed for over 18 months now with no problems..... until now that is .
The thermostat has now started to kick in at the correct set temperature ( not using any programme just a temp) but it latches on and keeps the boiler running until you manually switch off the boiler. The small picture of a turning fan on the thermostat display(which indicates boiler is on) switches of when the pre set temp is displayed but the boiler just keeps running. Can anyone shead some light on this for me pls!!!!!

May not be the tower stat, so more info is required about your system. See Before You Post a Question

sorry about that.
turns out it was the tower stat played around a while to no avail , then powered off the system completely, removed the batteries in the unit and left them out a while and it seems to be working again now. (i think it was something to do with the comfort/economy settings which i have now turned off and am just using manual override)
