CAN ANY ONE HELP????

I HAVE JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR AND A LIGHT KEEPS FLASHING ON THE DASH BOARD TELLING ME THERE IS A OPEN DOOR SOME WHERE ON THE CAR BUT ALL THE DOORS ARE CLOSED. PARKED IT UP TONIGHT AND AFTER 5 HOURS THE ALARM WENT OFF AND THE RED LIGHT WAS LIGHT UP ON THE DASH AND around THE barrel TELLING ME THAT THERE IS A DOOR OPEN WHEN ALL THE DOORS WERE CLOSED AND slammed SHUT JUST TO MAKE SURE THERE WERE CLOSED. WHAT CAN I DO TO SORT THIS PROBLEM OUT, PLEASE ANY ONE HELP.

faulty switch or faulty wire

there is also a sensor in the boot lid.

usually when a door is opened the interior light comes on (unless someone has switched it off or removed the bulb) so watch that as you open and close the doors

Buy a Haynes or other manual to see how to pull them out and look for damage

unless damage is visible to eye you will also need a £10 multimeter.
