Hi, I'm renovating a property and we currently have the gas meter outside the property, we want to hide the gas pipe from being exposed outside the property by buring it in the ground and re-directing so it enters the property under the front door, then connecting into the existing gas line inside the house. I understand that this cant be done in copper and has to be done in trac pipe? Can the trac pipe connect straight onto the meter or does it have to change to copper as soon as it comes out of the ground?

Thanks

You can use Trac pipe above and below ground, you can also use underground rated copper below ground if you want it doesnt have to be trac pipe, Trac is easier to use but is pretty expensive
