I have an old Charbroil BBQ with 1 venturi going into a burner.
I need to get a replacement as the burner is pretty rusty/old and doesn't burn effectively any more (slightly yellow flames, cold and hot spots on the BBQ).
However, most replacements seem to be 2 venturis. Is there a way to transform the 1 burner and split the gas into 2 so that I can use a replacement 2 burner venturi?

Alternatively, is there something I can wash out the old burner with?

Given the recent focus on CO deaths and other types of BBQ, How much do you value your life and those you love?

If you can not get proper parts, is it time to buy a new on? ......

Blast the burner with a power washer. If it cures it fine.
If not it's still fooked.
Used outdoors there is little danger of co issues.

Two campers in the great outdoors were recently killed by CO poisoning!

Nah the problem is on the inside of the burner, got rust in it.

The BBQ is fine so just replacing the burner should do the job but if I run 1 tube and split into 2 the pressure might be less for the burner?

its a valid point of view "shrug" but you paddle your own canoe.

You dont need to be inside to get a lung full of CO to do yourself damage

ps I dont read the daily mail
