Treating Decking Joists. What's best?

Hi all

I'm in the process of extending my decking and raised the boards to take a look at the supports underneath as it was moving a little. Now find that the supports for the decking are what looks like internal joists and they are not treated. Could anyone suggest/recommend what I could treat them with to give them a chance against the elements.
