tricty bendex wont spin

When I adjusted the dial during a spin cycle the trip switch for the sockets tripped.
Now the washing machine drum will not rotate at all even during the wash cycle.
Any Ideas?
Everything else seems OK

best get an engineer in, it sound like by adjusting the speed control board while its running you have cooked it, but i may be wrong
