Trim UPVC door frame extender.

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to trim a 15mm UPVC frame extender in depth to 10mm? The extender is on the top of the Upvc frame and trimming would just allow a little clearance. It's not on the sides of the frame or being drilled through obviously.

Shouldn't be a problem. It would probably be faster5 and easier to do away with the add on and foam the gap though.
 
Yes just cut the ribs off the extender, should easily find the 5mm by losing them or as gazman says leave the extender off and foam it
