Trip switch tripping ..... details in message

Must admit that I was rather concerned about those exposed screws and wires at the top! I also noticed the upside down fuse box cover when I took the picture.

I fear that further pictures wouldn't really show much except for the fuse box (covered) and a few wires coming out of the top. however, I do know that the previous incumbent of my property was something of a bodger, so I now dread to think what lies inside the fuse box!

I'll get in touch with an electrician and keep my fingers crossed that it's not an expensive repair!
