The Kitchen has its own circuit for the sockets. Recently it was tripping out, found that the dishwasher was faulty and replaced it, all has been fine for weeks.

The MCB not is permanently tripped out, despite nothing being plugged in??

Should I change the MCB??

Any advice gratefully received! Especially as the Combi won't work!!

Thanks in advance.

This implies that you think you're competent enough to change the MCB, so I'm going to assume that you're right, but in case you're not please ignore what follows.

Clearly you need a full and utter understanding of safe working before you remove the CU cover, and preferably some previous experience of doing so.

If you disconnect the circuits(s) from the MCB, and the MCB doesn't reset, then it's clearly faulty. If it does then reset, then you should carry out an RI test on the circuit(s). If there's no fault then it's likely that the MCB is faulty.
