Hi,

My shower was going from extreme heat to freezing cold water. So opened up the shower and saw leaking from the stabilising valve I believe. But once I put the cover back on, with electricity off there is a buzzing noise. I turned the electric on to see if anything changed and nothing. So turned off again and still noise is on, I am concerned I may suddenly get a big leak. Anything I can do? Or will it just go off by itself? I am obviously going to replace the shower when I get chance to source one that is the same fit.
thanks for help
Josh

Hi Josh,

Welcome to the forum, this would have been better posted in the plumbing or electrical subforum, however if the electric is off, then it suggests it could be something else. Is there an isolation valve on the water supply to it?

Hi thanks for reply.
I clicked the casing for the shower in a bit more and it went off. Although leaking continues which I guess means the stabilizing valve has broken.I think I would need to just replace the whole thing as it is a fair few years old.
