Triton Opal Heat setting needs to be higher than before.

I have a newish (16 months?) Triton Opal that seems to suddenly need the heat turning up a lot more than last week. Instead of 2 we're having to use 8, and there is consequently a drop in the water leaving the shower.

There is no Low Pressure light on, and the flow is strong when cool.

Any ideas? I have searched the forums, and I'm beginning to realise you maybe get what you pay for!!

I think one of the heating elements has probably failed.

Can I buy one do you think, or is it a new showerjob?

New shower less trouble. You could take the old one apart and tinker with it if you want... then buy a new shower.

Do I need the exact model again, or will they all fit the gap and pipes etc without retiling?

You can probably get one the same size, but measure it and look at the current brochure.
