Hi,

Please help. Hopefully you can see from the pictures that the water is leaking from the part of the valve that is turned by the temperature control knob on the outside. Is this a common problem? Is there a seal inside that can be replaced or should I replace the entire solenoid assembly?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian

just turn the water supply off take it out and see, you have nothing to lose, it might just need cleaned and greased it might need a new seal, worst case scenario you might need to replace the unit, you wont damage anything by taking it out and having a look, its only 2 screws

Out of interest, did you try replacing the stabiliser valve? Looks like I have the same issue, I’ve tried replacing the o-rings but still leaking.

Had the same problem as yourself.

The Original O-ring is quite thin. I fit a smaller metric 16x2.5 and stretched it just enough to fit and with a little coaxing
the plastic piece popped into place.

Rotary Temperature dial is now a little stiffer to turn but no more leaks and water pressure warnings.

I had the same problem. My shower is a VADO Elegance, but internally identical to Triton models. Even the same part numbers. I.e. A Solenoid valve stabilizer P27410800. Triton don't supply the o-ring nor could they tell me the size. They only supply the complete Solenoid valve stabilizer. Based on helpful advise from ZEN, I found that an ID17x2.0mm o-ring fits perfectly.
