I have a leaking Triton T650 shower mixer unit. It's in a second bathroom on the ground floor so there is no pump and it's used infrequently.

For some years now, the unit has been dripping from the shower head. It used to be possible to stop this by turning the unit off really tightly, but now even doing that does not stop the dripping, which has also speeded up.

How easy would it be to dismantle the unit and identify the faulty part? Or can anyone with experience of these units immediately suggest the likely culprit?!

I'm guessing undoing the screws above 10 on the left and below 10 on the right will give me access to the hot and cold inlets respectively. Or is the leak bound to be within the mixer section?

I appreciate a replacement part may not be available, but at least identifying it would be a useful first step.

And if the mixer cannot be fixed, any suggestions for a suitable replacement gratefully received. As I said, it's used infrequently.

Thanks.
