The first Gulf war involved a land invasion of Iraq.

Find me an example since WW2 of a successful bombing campaign alone that led to surrender or overthrow of a hostile regime to be replaced by a friendly one. Any example, no matter how poor.

Trump only pulled out now because he only announces bad news over a weekend.

Footage of their forces retreating under fire from drones. I have seen it confirmed but there was a rumour the planes lost during the F15 rescue weren't 'stuck in the mud' but were actually disabled on the ground.

The ceasefire is better than an active shooting war but it can't and won't last forever. In part because there's still an active conflict in Lebanon.

There is no public opinion in Irann, no mid terms to worry about, that only leaves the resumption of bombing to handle people’s frustrations which isn’t a sensible strategy
