They aren't a western country. They have polar opposite views, and Trump is out in a couple of years no matter what they do.
 
Mean while afaik you have Macron posing on a French air craft carrier off the coast of cypress !!!

Whilst a Uk working destroyer that has just been patched up has just left its port

Full speed ahead and it could be there in 4 days (?)

But due to cut backs and the cost of diesel it won’t be going full speed ahead it’s limping along so will take longer

UK have a couple of air craft carriers one is broken down and the other one has a leak
 
Deep penetrating munitions have been used today from long range bombers to hit the mad mullers underground missile production facilities

Did the articles you read say how much of Iran's oil was bought by China and at what price, did it explain how Russia has gone from being a powerful ally of China to being a weak dependant, 1,000,000 casualties and crippling sanctions, China has propped up Venezuela for years and now Trump has strolled in and taken Maduro away, killed the Ayatollah and put China in a very difficult position with the rest of the Middle East. Of course they now have to disown Iran and cosy up to the other countries to secure oil, they really are on the back foot, while Trump continues to eliminate the 'shadow fleet' of oil tankers.

There's a very big game being played here, the question is will Trump TACO or will he see it all through?

Personally, I think he'll see it through.

I suspect we'll see more claims of him raping children and eating babies in the near future.

Superficially, there are some modest gains for Trump.

But in just one year he has turned the USA into a rogue state who nobody trusts any longer. When they meet, Xi will look like the statesman.
