Don’t see the mad rabbis threatening the UK or sponsoring terrorist attacks on the UK unlike your hoppos the mad mullers ( lol)

the mad rabbis are very committed to bombing, killing, destroying, invading and annexing their neighbours on all sides. They say god told them to do it.

I do not know any mad mullas. I don't suppose you do either.

what a deal, Straits of Hormus open to toll free shipping, only trump could have pulled off this outstanding deal - this hasn't happened since he stupidly bombed them a few months ago - truly an outstanding achievement

About a week into the US war against Iran, Donald Trump pledged that there would be no deal with Tehran except “unconditional surrender!”

More than 100 days later, the US president is hailing a deal that underlines not only the Islamic republic’s capacity to withstand American-Israeli bombing but its newfound leverage from severely disrupting energy flows through the Strait of Hormuz."

“It’s a very weak deal for the US considering what the stated objectives were at the beginning,” said Dan Shapiro, a former senior US official. “It largely attempts to reopen the strait, which had definitely become the most important issue. But that just demonstrates how much leverage Iran had to persuade Trump that it was better to end this war even on weak terms than to continue it.”

The deal is a sign of the lack of good options Trump faced after being encouraged to go to war by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, analysts say.

If Trump escalated strikes as he had threatened, the Islamic regime — battered but not defeated — would escalate against America’s allies in the Gulf and further exacerbate the global energy crisis. If the status quo remained, the global economy would be hit harder."

Maybe Trump will claw back some votes.

"The memorandum of understanding agreed by the US and Iran will extend a fragile ceasefire, which was agreed on April 8, by 60 days. Iran will gradually reopen the strait while clearing mines, without charging fees for shipping for the duration of that period.

That will address one of Trump’s immediate concerns — easing the energy crisis triggered by this war. Prices at US petrol pumps have climbed to above $4 a gallon, months before the president’s Republican Party faces midterm elections."

It would appear so yes

Nothing Trump says it true.

He said earlier it was all complete, then he said it will be signed next Friday.

Maybe it will, maybe it won't.

Nothing is done until it's done.

Even then it's just a MoU, not a binding treaty.

“The Deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete,” Trump said in a social-media post late Sunday. “Congratulations to all! I hereby fully authorize the toll free opening of the Strait of Hormuz, and, simultaneously herewith, authorize the immediate removal of the United States Naval blockade. Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!” Trump later said the Strait of Hormuz would reopen Friday, when the deal is signed."

Trump is desperate for a "deal," even a worthless one that isn't worth the paper it's (not yet) written on.

Iran won't stop fighting, or developing nukes. They'll just hide things better and wait till the USS Orangina & co have buggered off.
Iran can wait forever, Trump's 80 and can't get an election. Pun intended.

I'd bet there are mines at the bottom of the H straight ready to be released at the press of a button, which Iran will leave whatever they say, and probably add to.
Of course the mullahs are all mad, they're religious.
There would be fewer deaths all round if someone eliminated Netanyahu. Also mad.

What Trump says is always for effect, though often random and ill considered, or counter productive. It is not connected to truth.
President of Pakistan says he thinks there's a framework between US and Iran,, because he wants US support against India so parrots the US BS.

Iran will be allowed to get some of their oil out and supplies in, which will prove to be a mistake - it'll prolong things.
Iran has been firing a lot more at others' ships, as reported by the ship owners, than gets reported in the press.

There is no evidence that tankers have been "slipping through". Two tugs and a rowboat, maybe.

Nothing to see here.
Until Iran hits another oil ship publicly.

I wonder if Netanyahu will do as he's told.
This is probably the biggest question. For Israel this is a betrayal and the restriction on attacking Lebanon is ridiculous for them.

Right now Israel occupies a decent chunk of Lebanon and has recently been enforcing evacuations of large cities. Hamas will continue to strike at Israeli forces and Israel until Israel pulls back. Since Israel has no intention of this they will continue to attack which means israel will retaliate. Which will breach the MOU.

So basically the same deal as the Obama deal...

Except the orange rapist played with the world economy and many died to get there...

And he has left the regime in Iran stronger than before!
