Rad removed for decorating 2 weeks ago, TRV has just started leaking, put onto the 'snowflake' setting, but still leaking.
Leaks until pressure in Worcester Combi Greenstar boiler is at zero, then stops, although obviously now no hot water or heating in rest of house.
How can I stop leak?
Do not have any caps for the TRVs (app the plumber who installed should have left these) and am concerned about the boiler being on zero pressure (should be between 1 and 1.5bar).

you need the blanking cap to turn of fully :(

or you can put a piece of plastic over the outlet on the valve and tape it on
(it might work) just put pressure back upto .5 bar it should work ok

Put a 15mm compression nut and olive on the open end of the trv, insert a bit of pipe and tighten, now fit a blanking cap to the end of the pipe. Problem solved until you need to refit the rad.

See if a penny will fit between the TRV head (on max) and pin on valve head. Tighten down to close valve.

Mike - Thankyou - Got an emergency 'friend of a friend' plumber out who did exactly as you said... I'll know for next time!
