Friend has bought a new house, I went to change the Euro lock but discovered the spring bolt latch doesnt spring anymore, deadbolt works fine.
The lock is stamped up as Yale but I cannot find a Yale lock that looks like it (its well over 10 years old).
It has no hooks or rollers, it has the deadbolt but also two shootbolts top and bottom, but rather than being the type with a metal strip running down the edge of the door and the shootbolts coming out there (like the Yale French Door Lockmaster), the shootbolts are inside the door, with a threaded rod going in top/bottom of the lock mechanism. The shootbolts go up when the handle is lifted.(lift n lock)
