Hi,
I have an oldish set of uPVC French doors that needs a new multipoint lock. The current lock is a Mila unit, with 2 hooks, 2 rollers and a shootbolt top and bottom.
Seems to be only a 25mm backset (most seem to be 35mm).
I've identified the lock as the following:

Thing is, I'm wondering if a more modern multipoint lock would be more secure? Would any with a 25mm backset work, as long as the appropriate strikers are fitted? Or does it need to stick to the 2 hook, 2 roller configuration?
Cheers!
