Hi people, My wife has a ts690 alarm set up in her salon and was wondering on the following.........

Every thing was fine until one nice the main supply fuse decided to melt with out us realising and it must of drain the back up ???... Eventually i started to hear chirps and decided to investigate finding the faulty fuse. After replacing i had battery fault on display (im asuming as it droped below a certain voltage)anyway thats cleared but i have phone line fault on the dig pad and was wondering if there is a way of clearing it....when we moved in it was working fine and weve been open a year now with phone connected all the time ......
ANY HELP PLEASE WOULD BE APPRICIATED

Have you a test meter?
There should be 50VDC at the comms line. I assume it was connected to a dialler? ( Be aware mains is present and caution should be taken when opening the panel). Have you paid the phone bill, silly question but it does happen if on a separate but forgotten number.
You probably need a new battery and this could be causing the issue. When you do change the battery remove all mains power from the panel at the same time. It can be a little difficult otherwise, a quaint trait of this panel and its bigger brothers too.

Hi yes bill paid  i am part p and 17th qualified but wont touch if not sure,ok will try and get back to you many thanks .....
