TT Configuration and replacing the CU

I've got a TT system, Ph/Ne coming in from pylon and earth stake outside by door.

The CU currently in use is a MEM with an Isolator Switch and 5 resettable fuses. This obviously gives me no protection other than it'll blow at the 5amp point, by which time i could be dead.

What would people recommend to replace this system which consists of the following.

45 Amp Cooker
30 Amp Ring Up
30 Amp Ring Down
5 Amp Light Up
5 Amp Light Down

Do i need multiple RCD's, what rating and type? I was only going to use a 30mA for the sockets, but after some reading due to the TT system i may need to use a 100mA on the supply. Can someone clarify the situation for me please.

Cheers
Lee

You need a 100mA s-type (time delayed) RCD protecting every circuit and a 30mA RCD protecting certain circuits (showers, socket outlets).

Have you tried contacting your supplier and requesting a PME supply? It will probably cost about the same as a TD RCD but is far superior.

Don't forget, DNO's insist that MEB's are done before PME will be connected.
