TV and radio interference from central heating boiler.

My tv and radio keep on getting interference every time the boiler clicks on or off.It's only brief but annoying when the picture on my tv breaks up or you get a crackle on the radio.No lights are affected .
Is there anything I can do to stop this problem?

What boiler is it? Has it just started? Have you had any work or new parts fitted to your boiler?

Could be a capacitor/suppressor on the ignition circiut had it.

The boiler has a newish thermostat but the interference has been going on since I moved here four years ago. Its an old back boiler which is over 15 years old.

what happens if you dissconet the pump?

I know the heating wont work, but what about the interfearance?

if it goes get a new pump
