Hi,

I've just realised that the new tv I bought is 65 inch and the existing mount (link here) is for 55 inch max. Is this a problem? It does seem to rest on it ok.

Additionally, the best position for the tv needs to be lower than the bracket accommodates so looking for an extender solution? Does such a thing exist? Reluctant to start meddling with moving it and the electrics behind.

Thanks

John

Bracket is probably specced for an older style tv which are much heavier so all good for the weight

I'd move the bracket and plugs down down personally as you should be able to find the joists and noggin easy enough to accept screws
