Hi,

My rads are 20yrs old & the TVRs the same. I'm replacing a couple of the rads (nothing wrong with them, just moving things around a bit). Should I replace the TVRs, or can I reuse the old (Honeywell) ones?

Why does the price differ so much with these things? Ones made by known brands can be anything fro £5 to £25. What the difference?

I think the Drayton looks a lot better than the ones with a big plastic knob with slots in it. I managed to get one with a gold-plated head for the bathroom.

Gold is so 90's

Defianatley replace the TRV's. Drayton TRV 4 are one of the most popular.

TRV4's are £18.50 from Screwfix. B&Q have some Drayton ones at £5.05. What's the benefit of the TRV4?

we use the altecnic eco-packs (caleffi trv and lockshield) good all rounder
